2014 VIADER “Liquid Cashmere”
VIADER “Liquid Cashmere” shows the typicity and consistency of the VIADER estate with its firm structure influenced by the steep and very rocky volcanic red soils of the eastern slopes of Howell Mountain, and the familiar elegance and harmony created through the combination of Cabernet Sauvignong and Cabernet Franc.
72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc from the Viader Estate. Deep ruby red color with generous aromatics and a great balance of sweet fleshy red and blue fruits, with hints of graphite and delicate floral notes. An attractively smooth and seamless mouthfeel. Extensively long layered finish of baking spices, cloves and star anise. Gorgeous to enjoy today; it should evolve into legendary territory in 10 years’ time with more cellaring in the bottle.
