During this show I’ll be saying farewell to my good friend and mentor Larry Evers. Many of you no doubt have taken wine classes at WSU with Larry many years ago when the classes were at the Marcus Center. Of course most will remember Ever’s Wine & spirits in the Piccadilly market and some of you will remember Larry as the driving force at Standard Beverage Corporation where he founded Vintage Marketing. For the past several years Larry has been one of “The Wine Guys” at Jacob Liquor on North Rock, a community supporter, a Wichita Wagonmaster and a great guy. Larry is moving to Florida to be near his son Chris and to start a joint venture with him.
