Join fellow brew-lovers and increase your beer knowledge from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept 22 for The Grand Tasting at Century II EXPO Hall, Wichita, KS, for a “big brew” adventure and help celebrate our 12th year of awesome beers, food and fun.
I’ll be talking to a number of the folks that make this great happen including Mike Cayless from Children’s Miracle Network, the benefactor of this years event. A great event for a good cause and a chance to taste a bunch of great brews.
We still have to do a wine of the work though…
Good Life Guy’s Wine of the Week:
2011 Agua de Piedra Reserva Malbec from Mendoza Argentina
Pours an inky purple, with aromas of plums and red and black berries. Delivers an intense wallop of rich berry fruit on the entrance. Finishes strong and smooth with root spices and a hint of earthiness. The tannins are enrobed in rich, creamy fruit, and add a lingering silkiness to the wine.
This wine comes in 6-pack wooden boxes perfect for gift giving or storing. Normal retail price $15.99
Got to Jacob Liquor on North Rock road today, find Jamie or Whitney and get it for the internet only price of $11.99 when you tell them you heard about it on The Good Life!
