I had the opportunity to talk to one of my favorite Bourbon Ambassadors on her last visit to Wichita a week ago, Ms. Hollis Bulleit from Bulleit Bourbon and chat about bourbon in general and the new Bulleit 10 Year. Hollis was in town to start the celebration of River City Breweries 20th Anninversary. River City is using Bulleit Bourbon barrels in making some unique craft brew.

I’ll also be talking to the two guys who are instrumental in making River City the success it is today, Owner/Operator Chris Arnold and Brew master Dan Norton. Not only has the menu evolved into one of the best in town, this “beer friendly” menu includes many of the breweries beers in the recipes. The guys have continued to put top priority on making the best craft beer in the Midwest. With the addition of Loft 150 a few years ago, this anchor of Old Town is a shinning star here in the flat lands.
