Good Life Guy’s Wine of the Week:

Omen_CS_Label_20

2020 Omen Cabernet from Sierra Foothills AVA & Paso Robles AVA
A blend of fruits, florals and spices fills the nose and palate. There is blackberry jam, black cheery, dried violets, chocolate, cinnamon, nutmet, toasted wood and black tea. Plush tannins coat the mouth while balanced acidity adds lift and lightness to the midpalate. An engaging full bodied red wine!

Good Life Guy’s Wine of the Week:
2020 Bogle Family Vineyards Merlot
,
Soft and silky, showing bright & rich purple color. Aromas of sandalwood, vanilla and black cherry abound. The mouthwatering entry is full of dark fruit, followed by notes of pipe tobacco, sweet herb and satisfying coffee grounds. Ten months in American oak round out the finish, leaving cocoa-dusted tannins to linger.
