Coming to you LIVE from North Reddington Beach Florida at my brothers home.  That’s my brother that started The Good Life with me on WKAT 1360AM in Miami in 1988.

First up is Chef Lisa Palacios Mistress of great food and owner of the Funky Monkey Munchies Food truck in Wichita Kansas.  We’ll tell you a little about Lisa, the truck and more importantly about fun and tasty things to do with your Turkey day leftovers.  Here’s a cool recipe for turkey casserole.

Then it’s my brother Brian and I chatting about not only using those leftovers but more importantly some food and wine related topics.  I promise we will try to not have dead air due to laughter, operative word TRY.  In the past during the early days of The Good Life we had some serious roll-on-the-floor bouts of craziness.  :- )

Good Life Guy’s Wine of the Week:
2015 Tangent Sauvignon Blanc  www.tangentwines.com
Another bright and racy vintage, with flavors of green apple, lime, grapefruit, lemon zest, notes of minerality and citrus aromatics. Silky and light, balanced with nice crisp acidity.  We enjoyed this wine with some friend grouper bites but it pairs well with most any seafood.

Sauvignon Blanc is always a great way to start an evening while watching the Florida sunset!  The Niven family is one of the early producers in the Central Coast of California and the Tangent label is the first domestic winery dedicated solely to producing alternative white wines.

This dynamic range of crisp and bright, individual and energetic, unoaked and screw-capped whites currently includes Albariño, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Gris, Grenache Blanc, and a blend called Ecclestone.
