Good Life Guy’s Wine of the Week:
2007 Le Chemin Des Reves “UTOPIE 3”

Le_chemin_des_reves_utopie3_2007_rouge_LRGMade from 25% each: Carignan, Cabernet, Grenache, and Syrah the 2007 edition had 3,500 btls produced. Hand-harvested, severe selection. Low yields; vine age: 50 years old.  The grapes from each plot are vinified separately in small vats; punch-downs of the cap and temperature control provide gentle extraction, smooth tannins, bright freshness & beautiful purity.  Blended in February, the lots are assembled and stabilized for 6-12 months in cement. No oak.
TASTE PROFILE: Very dark red robe, opaque, unctuous, concentrated but still holds up its structure
nicely; a grand vin, long, rewarding finish; great hypothetical blend of exotic fruits and luxurious
breed.

This wine is on SALE at a great price at Jacob Liquor Exchange on North Rock Road
