Join us for an interesting chat and tasting with Trinchero Napa winemaker Mario Monticelli from the magnificent new wine-making facility in the North end of the valley.

“Our goal has always been to find a stand-alone location for our flagship wines,” explained Robert Torres, grandson of Mario Trinchero and Senior Vice President of Facilities and Operations. “This is a jewel of a site. It’s convenient for visitors, has enough elevation change to accommodate a multi-level winery and offers incredible views of the Spring and Howell mountains. The site also possesses a superb 13-acre sustainably farmed Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard which will bring our total to 200 acres of vines in Napa Valley.”

Mario & Goodlife Guy

“I am a minimalist,” Mario says. “It is my goal to put forth the best expression of the fruit and land from which it is grown. I like to keep things as natural as possible and choose not to use a lot of enzymes and chemicals. The estate vineyards that make up the Trinchero Napa Valley program are some of the most exceptional in the Valley and I’m excited to create wines that reflect the terroir of these individual sites.”
