First up is Mark Douglas to talk about the May 10 “Over The Edge” event at the Ambassador Hotel here in Wichita.

Be one of the select few who will rappel from the Ambassador Hotel, one of the tallest buildings in Wichita! Space is limited to 73 participants with no experience required – register today!

You can get your co-workers, friends or family to either go “Over the Edge” or support you to raise $750 in your quest. If your boss has ever sent you over the edge, it’s payback time! By raising money from co-workers you can “Toss Your Boss” or if they’re brave enough, your co-workers can join you as an Edger.

All proceeds from this event will support the Scouting program of the Quivira Council, which serves youth in 30 counties in southern and southeast Kansas with a values based, character development program. Scouts grow in leadership, citizenship, physical fitness and self-confidence as they set goals and achieve them. Your participation in “Over the Edge” as either an Edger, sponsor or by “Tossing Your Boss” will make a difference in the lives of youth and families involved in the Scouting program.

“Over the Edge” is an opportunity to push the limits and experience something unique that you’ll never forget. The amazing views from atop the Ambassador Hotel, the exhilaration you’ll have as you descend 14 stories and then be greeted by family and friends at Base Camp await all Edgers.
