LIVE from the Downtown Chile Cook-Off!  I’ll be telling you all about this fun annual event brought to you by the Wichita Wagonmasters.  Learn more: www.wagonmasterschili.com

You’ll want to get downtown right at Noon when the tasting fun begins, but you are welcome to come early and watch all the contestants cooking.  The aromas are great as the anticipation builds for the official judging.  As an attendee you get to vote for the peoples choice award, always one of the most popular trophy’s.

I’ll be talking to some of the contestants, previous winners and of course this years “Chile Potentate” Steve Mcintosh from KNSS1330AM and the co-host of our favorite morning talk show Steve & Ted in the morning.

Good Life Guy’s Wine of the Week from Hungary:
2011 Count Karolyi Gruner Veltliner

The 2011 vintage is bone dry and light gold in color. Aromas of green apples and gooseberries fill the nose while on the palate, it is balanced by a delicate fruitiness. This is a fresh, zingy wine that shows crisp acidity, making it a perfect food wine.
